AI Story uses Sign in with Apple to identify accounts and stores membership status, story credits, purchase records, and necessary service logs. Family member names are used only to create family stories and illustration prompts.
We use this information to create stories, generate narration audio, create illustrations, restore purchases, manage story credits, and troubleshoot the service.
Personal stories are stored on your device by default. Only when you explicitly add a story to a family do we store its text, settings, and narration audio on our server for that family's members to view and play. You can add a story to multiple families or remove it. Family owners can manage members and shared stories.
Story, illustration, and audio generation may be processed by AIGate, OpenAI-compatible services, Volcengine, or Fish Audio. We send only the text instructions required to generate the story experience.
The app is designed for parents to create stories for children. Settings, account access, and purchases are protected by a parent check.
Users can delete their account in app settings. After deletion, server account data is disabled, remaining credits and membership status are cleared, and stories and audio they added to family libraries are deleted. Required transaction records may be retained for compliance.
